The Cancer Calendar by Kerri Besse is a practical, art-driven companion for anyone navigating a cancer diagnosis.

After being diagnosed with breast cancer on March 11, 2020, Kerri’s world shifted overnight. As an artist and designer, she did what she knew how to do when everything felt out of control: she created. Facing the realities of treatment, including chemotherapy-related short-term memory loss, she needed a system she could trust. On the day of her diagnosis, she purchased poster board and built her own calendar before her first infusion on May 21, 2020. That personal survival tool is now the foundation of this book.

The Cancer Calendar provides structured calendar templates beginning at diagnosis and moving through surgery, chemotherapy, and radiation. Included sticker sheets feature key icons for appointments and milestones, along with blank stickers that allow users to personalize their pages with the tools, habits, and small victories that help them cope.
